MSJ Names New Varsity Boys Ice Hockey Coach

Mount St. Joseph Academy announces Brett Stickney as our new Varsity Boys Ice Hockey Coach.

Brett attended MSJ and played hockey for two years before going to St. Paul’s Prep School. He has played for two Junior Olympic teams, Boston College (full hockey scholarship), the Flint Generals of the Colonial Hockey League, the Indianapolis Ice of the IHL and was drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks of the NHL.

Upon his return to Rutland, he coached Pee Wee and Bantams for the Rutland Area Hockey Association. His playing experience has given him the knowledge to teach hockey, making his players fundamentally sound power skaters with a great sense for the flow of the game.

MSJ is excited to welcome Brett back to the Academy. We know he will be a great asset to the hockey program.
